1. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or placing an order with Sierra Memorial, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use our services. Questions are always welcome — call 775-323-1835 before you order and we will walk you through anything here.
2. Service Description
Sierra Memorial provides memorial design, fabrication, and installation services, including custom headstones, monuments, benches, and related memorial products. All services are subject to availability and to final approval of your design specifications.
3. Design and Approval Process
Every design requires your approval before production begins. We provide detailed proofs as part of our collaborative design process, and nothing is carved until you have signed off on the final proof. Changes requested after final approval may incur additional fees. We reserve the right to decline designs that do not meet our quality standards or your cemetery’s regulations.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices are subject to change without notice; final pricing is confirmed at the time of order. Payment terms are set out in each sales agreement. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude sales tax and cemetery setting fees. Our current starting prices are published on the pricing page.
5. Production and Delivery
Production timelines vary with design complexity, customization, and material availability. The estimates we give — including those on our timeline guide — are made in good faith but are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays beyond our reasonable control.
6. Warranties
Our work is backed by the following warranties:
- Painted surfaces carry a 10-year warranty
- Ceramic and porcelain memorial photos carry a lifetime warranty
These warranties cover manufacturing defects and normal wear. They do not cover vandalism, abuse, or damage beyond normal wear occurring after the warranty period.
7. Installation
We typically install what we fabricate throughout Nevada and Northern California. Some cemeteries require their own installers; in those cases we coordinate delivery to the cemetery or its approved installer, including for nationwide orders. All installation is subject to cemetery approval and local regulations.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sierra Memorial is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from our services, except where such limitations are prohibited by law.
9. Intellectual Property
Designs, patterns, and artwork remain the property of Sierra Memorial or their respective rights holders. When you purchase a memorial, you receive the physical memorial itself, not the intellectual property in its design.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
