Our story
A Reno shop built on getting it right
Sierra Headstone & Monument opened in 1979 in Reno, Nevada. Since then, our family has helped families through one of the most personal purchases they will ever make — the stone that carries a name forward after everything else has been said.
Over 47 years later, the work is still done the same way: you tell us about your loved one, we design together, and every detail is proofed with you before a single grain of granite is carved. From flat markers to full upright monuments and memorial benches, we fabricate the memorial and install it ourselves throughout Nevada and Northern California — and families anywhere in the country can order by phone or email.

We engrave granite the proven way — sandblast carving that cuts deep, crisp lettering and artwork made to stay legible for generations.
Warranties we stand behind
Ceramic and porcelain memorial photos carry a lifetime warranty. Painted surfaces are warrantied for ten years. We also restore and repaint older memorials.
Honest, published pricing
Most monument shops make you call for every number. We publish our starting prices — flat markers from $1,100, uprights from $3,650 — so you can plan first.
