Lettering Styles
Fifteen lettering styles, sandblast carved so they stay legible for generations.
Lettering is the part of a memorial people actually read, and the style sets the tone as much as the shape of the stone does. This page shows the fifteen faces we carve, from formal Roman capitals to flowing script.
All lettering is sandblast carved rather than surface-etched, which is what gives it depth and lets it survive decades of weather. Painted lettering carries our 10-year warranty; when paint eventually fades on an older monument, we offer repainting and restoration.
